Our most recent topic has been a series of discussions surrounding race and social justice. Starting August 15, Wesley Conventicle will study "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander together. This book explores how the War on Drugs and the criminal justice system are being used to maintain the racial hierarchy that for so long has characterized America. Led by Ed Stephenson.
