Our New Song Capital Campaign has been an incredible success, bearing fruit beyond what we could imagine. So far, we have committed $2,194,249, which is almost 10% more than our love goal. Praise the Lord! We’re so thankful for your overflowing generosity. We have collected $350,905, which is supporting the organ renovation without tapping our line of credit. We anticipate decommissioning the organ soon, and we can’t wait for the updated instrument to help us lift our praises to God in worship.

A Word of Encouragement from Bishop Julius C. Trimble:
Campaign Booklet
Dear Friends,
We are so excited to be leading A New Song, our capital campaign! Through this campaign, our church will move boldly into God's preferred future as we prepare for ministry now and for generations to come. The Governing Board has established the following priorities for A New Song:
1. To ELIMINATE the remaining debt incurred to build the Wesley/Education Wing.
2. To PAY for the restoration of the pipe organ.
3. To GIVE an extravagant gift to missions.
4. To START a facility endowment to help pay for future facility repairs.
A more complete explanation of these goals is included in this booklet. You can download a copy for yourself by clicking the title above. As your Campaign Directors, we hope you will join us and your Governing Board in earnestly praying our centering prayer,
"Lord, what do you want to do through me to fulfill your vision for First Methodist?"
and then give as God leads.
Blessings.

A New Song Campaign Directors.
Devotional Guide 2024
A New Song is the theme of our upcoming campaign to eliminate our debt and complete a major organ renovation. We are excited about the campaign and the difference it will make for generations to come!
As we enter this important time in the life of our congregation, this Devotion Guide has been prepared as a tool for us to use for prayer and discernment. We invite you to use it each day. We know that you will be blessed by the stories of faith contained in these pages. We thank God for those who have shared a part of their lives and written these inspiring devotionals. We also appreciate all the hard work our Devotion Guide team did putting this together. Thank you all so much!
As the members and friends of First United Methodist Church, we are being asked during the campaign to pray a simple, yet profound prayer: “Lord, what do you want to do through me to fulfill your vision for First Methodist?” May God prepare all of our hearts to celebrate God’s presence in our lives with an outpouring of our generosity and faithfulness.
