Here’s what we’re currently offering for your kids at First Methodist:
Family Advent Night: Sunday, December 8th from 4pm to 6pm
Young Church Ministries wants to invite all families to our Family Advent Night on Sunday, December 8th. From 4pm to 5:30pm we'll have an Advent & Christmas mini-VBS. Then we'll have pizza together at 5:30pm and a Christmas Eve service practice at 6pm for those who are involved. Email Matt with questions or for more information!
SCCAP: Head Start Program
First Methodist is honored to host the SCCAP Head Start preschool program in our facilities. Head Start is a family centered child development program whose mission is to promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and families. Moms At First
Moms at First is a lay-led community group offered in partnership with First United Methodist Church that supports moms and creates a space to share and learn through the journey of motherhood. The group offers semi-annual events and a suite of supportive resources based on the needs of new moms and families, including meals, supplies, check-in calls, and visits. Click here to get involved!
