Part of our vision is to be a Christ-centered church that is open to all. One important aspect of our witness in Bloomington is inclusion of people who are LGTBQIA+. We are resuming our conversation about becoming a Reconciling Congregation, which means the entire church would approve a statement of inclusion to become part of the Reconciling Ministries Network. We would let the world know our intentions for full welcome and advocacy of those who are LGBTQIA+. This kick-off event will be a time to learn about the expectations, benefits, and challenges of being a Reconciling Congregation. Bring your open hearts to learn more and ask questions.
