A service of tenebrae, or "shadows," is based on a 12th century late night or early morning service. We will have an extended meditation on the passion of Christ in the Gospel of John through Scripture, prayer, poetry, music, silence, and the extinguishing of candles. All are welcome to walk Christ’s road of sorrows with us.
