Faithful and Inclusive allows us as United Methodists to explore how we can both honor Scripture and be fully welcoming and affirming of people who are LGBTQIA+ in the church. This six-week study will be based on a video series by the Rev. Rob Fuquay of St. Luke's UMC in Indy. We will look at how we interpret both Hebrew and New Testament Scripture, the influence of culture on how we read the Bible, the ethic of Jesus, and where the church goes from here. As we prepare for our congregation's future, all are welcome to this essential holy conversation.
