We tell people all the time about things we enjoy. We can recommend a good movie or book. We go on and on about a good vacation spot. We can brag about a great restaurant. What if we were equally energetic about sharing the good news (the “gospel”) of Jesus Christ, or the amazing things God has done in our lives? When we have good news to share, we want to invite others to experience it with us. We want to share our stories. That’s the heart of evangelism. It starts with relationship, conversation, and invitation. Today, we’ll recommit to sharing the love of God in Christ with people outside our walls, and trusting in the Holy Spirit.
