When 18th century Methodists started accumulating wealth, our founder John Wesley began preaching to them about money, not to fundraise, but to lead them to more Christ-centered lives. He urged them to earn all they can, save all they can, and give all they can. The trouble is, most of us today have forgotten about the last one – giving all we can. Today we’ll explore Timothy’s instructions, alongside John Wesley’s, so that we might be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.
