Our Senior Adult Ministry is inviting you to examine the most challenging teachings of Jesus with a book study on Difficult Words of Jesus by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine (available through Cokesbury or Amazon). Jesus spoke words that followers then and now have found difficult, such as instructing disciples to hate members of their own families. Dr. Levine shows how these teachings would have sounded to the people who first heard them, how they have been understood over time, and how we might interpret them in the context of the Gospel of love and reconciliation.

We invite you to join us for this book study either in-person during the Discipleship Hour, Sundays at 10:45am or via Zoom on Wednesdays at 2:00pm. Please register on Eventbrite for the Sunday in-person study at 10:45am or the Wednesday Zoom study at 2:00pm. The study will start the week of August 15th and continue through September 26.
